Executive design of temporary structures for maintenance of ENEL sector gates – SAN LAZZARO DAM

The dam consists of an overflow-crest blade structure with a height of 6 m, equipped with four automatic counterweighted sector gates, each 4.5 m high and 18 m long.
This type of barrier, featuring a reinforced-concrete counterweight and hydraulically operated by the rise of the water level in the reservoir itself, allows the gates to lift automatically above the reservoir water level, thereby ensuring safe discharge of flood flows.
