Design and 3D modelling of instrumented SKID for industrial plant
We oversaw the design and three-dimensional modelling of an instrumented SKID intended for integration into industrial plants for the control and management of process flows. The system was developed in a modular configuration, with a metal structural frame and a network of pipes, valves, and measurement and control instruments.
The layout was optimised to ensure:
- Compactness and accessibility during installation and maintenance
- Structural robustness under harsh operating conditions
- Precision in process control, thanks to the presence of actuators, transmitters and control valves distributed along the line
The design included the verification of fluid paths, the sizing of connections and the functional positioning of instruments, with attention to safety, maintainability and regulatory compliance.
