Pressure reduction system for a crude oil pipeline (Iraq)

Detailed engineering design of a crude-oil pressure reduction system located in southern Iraq, including full coverage/enclosure of the plant.

The skid is equipped with a three-stream pressure reduction system (the first and second streams operate at 100%, while the third is in standby mode). The two main headers have a diameter of 48”, while the three reduction branches are 30”.

The entire plant was designed in modular sections to allow transport by container.
