Ingot turner – maximum capacity 500 t
Detailed engineering design of a 500-ton ingot turner to be used in the Forging Department – SOCIETÀ DELLE FUCINE SRL.
The ingot turner—designed to support and rotate the ingot during the forging process—consists of a machined welded structure to which the mechanical components required for torque transmission and ingot handling are installed.
The ingot turner is suspended by lifting brackets from the hook (anchor) of a 600-ton overhead crane.
