Design of the Lac10 sulfuric acid pickling tank

Design of a new sulfuric acid pickling tank within the PIX1 LAC10 department of the “Acciai Speciali Terni S.p.A.” plant.

The tank consists of 4 modules, assembled to a total length of 35 meters. Before being assembled, the individual modules will be fully lined with rubber, bricks, and mortar, for a total tank weight of approximately 68 t.
